We can announce that we’ll be sponsoring a category at the upcoming Best of South Tyneside Awards, an event dedicated to celebrating South Tyneside's Business and Community Heroes.
The category in question is the ‘Unsung Hero’ award, an achievement presented to individuals who deserve recognition for their work in the South Tyneside community. They could be a charity or community worker, a teacher, a group leader or anyone who embodies the term ‘unsung hero’.
Our Chief Executive Paul Fiddaman had this to say:
“The Unsung Hero category stood out as one Karbon Homes wanted to get behind.
It’s humbling to be in a position to shine a light on those individuals who make such a difference and to properly recognise the contribution they make, often quietly in the background while just getting on with it.
At Karbon Homes one of our main aims is to build strong, sustainable places for our communities, and with a number of homes in South Tyneside, this is an event close to our heart.”
