Karbon Homes is committed to delivering the very best value for money for our customers. We understand that we need to deliver high-quality services as economically as possible.
To ensure that we find the right balance between cost and quality, the goods, services and works that we buy are subject to a set of rigorous rules that govern the way we appoint suppliers and contractors.
To make sure that we are constantly delivering value for money, our procurement team works closely with all of our staff to make sure our contracts are the best that they can be.
We make sure that the suppliers and contractors we deal with are capable, have the right attitude and are financially sound. We also ask that they’re committed to preserving the environment and helping our local communities.
All major suppliers and contractors are asked during the procurement process to demonstrate that they are committed to eradicating slavery and human trafficking. If we feel that a potential partner is not making positive steps in this field, they will be not considered for the contract in question.

A key aim of our strategy is to shape strong, sustainable places for our communities. One way in which our partners help us achieve this is through our Unlocking Social Value programme.
Through their social value commitments, our contractors and suppliers support us to make a difference in the places that we work and to the lives of those who live there.
However big or small, the commitments make a huge difference to the lives of those impacted and play a vital role in helping us provide our customers and communities with the support they need to build strong foundations for life.
