Find out more about our Support Services Apprenticeship

With just a few days left to submit your application for our Support Services Apprentice position, we’ve chatted to Administrator, Lauren Morpeth, to take a closer look at the role and what it’s like working within the Support Services team.

“Starting a new job is normally extremely daunting, mixed with fear of the unknown.   However, I can honestly say that Karbon has made the transition into a new job role a straightforward and enjoyable experience for me.

It’s coming up to my 2-month anniversary with Karbon and I’m loving my role. It’s extremely diverse and has provided many opportunities to put my multi-tasking and problem-solving skills to the test.

Karbon really stand by its values and has shown this by creating a really strong and supportive admin team that are always happy to help.

You’d think that a ‘typical day in admin would be boring with lots of sitting at a desk but with Karbon, it couldn’t be further from the truth. From my first day I have been involved in several different jobs.

My role involves printing and posting the letters daily and scanning and logging certificates onto the system. I have also recently started making calls to customers ahead of appointments they have booked, which has been a great addition to my job. It’s really important to be flexible and grab every opportunity to learn something new.

Within the Admin Team we all have our own specific areas however it’s always useful to have an understanding of other people’s jobs to provide help when needed.  There will always be someone around to offer support when it comes to your job or even studies.

Our team is a brilliant combination of different ages and interests. You’ll never be bored because there is always someone to put a smile on your face. You’ll be welcomed into a group of happy, friendly colleagues, who between them have years of experience and are fantastic at what they do, helping to contribute to making your time at Karbon a really positive experience.

Karbon promote flexible working, allowing you to establish a good work life balance that best suits your needs. You couldn’t pick a better company than Karbon to do an apprenticeship with."
