What is an AAP?

Area Action Partnership’s (AAP’s) were set up in County Durham to deliver high quality services and give local people and organisations a say on how services are provided. There are 14 AAP’s in the County and every other year, they send out a survey to ask local residents and young people (secondary school pupils) to identify key themes that matter to them most and what the AAP should work on. The AAP’s have developed a survey inviting residents to select what their priorities are and identify what the APP and its partners should work on between 2019 and 2021.

Your views count

Residents living in County Durham are invited to complete the survey and select their top three (from ten) themes, which includes young people, older people, health and wellbeing, community safety and the environment. Your views will help prioritise and target AAP spending and provide them with the opportunity to apply for outside funding to bring more money into the County. Almost 8,000 residents completed the last AAP survey in 2016.

How to complete the survey

If you live in County Durham, you can access the survey via Durham County Council’s website here.

The closing date for surveys is 30 November 2018. Thank you for your co-operation.
