January 2026

Welcome to our January edition of Karbon Life, keeping our stakeholders up to date with the latest news from Karbon Homes.

I hope you had a restful Christmas break and are hitting your stride for 2026. Our Christmas period saw a fantastic Christmas market in Stanley – something we support as part of our Thriving Stanley commitment to boosting the town's local economy. Some of our customers at The Manors in Prudhoe took to the stage to perform a pantomime to a packed audience. The performance showcased the talents and personalities of our residents and created some fantastic memories – the rave reviews are well deserved.

We rounded off 2025 with the publication of Tenant Satisfaction Measures for housing associations. I am incredibly proud to share that, of the largest 50 landlords in 2024-2025, Karbon was third top for overall satisfaction with complaints (43.2%) and fourth for satisfaction with overall repairs service at 84.1%. For overall satisfaction, we benched fifth out of 50 with a result of 81.5%.

Our ranking demonstrates our commitment to putting customers at the heart of everything we do. While there is always work to do to drive further customer satisfaction, we’re proud of our efforts here and I want to thank everyone who works so hard to deliver for our customers.

Looking forward to 2026, we have a great deal planned – you can read here about some of our exciting projects below.
