We've recently become aware that some customers have received letters from companies offering air source heat pump servicing.
If you rent your home from Karbon, there's no need to pay for this service. As a Karbon customer, we already carry out regular servicing of the systems that provide heating and hot water to your home as part of your tenancy.
This includes gas, oil, air source heat pumps, solar systems, unvented hot water systems and solid fuel appliances. These services are provided at no extra cost, as they are already covered by your rent.
If you're a leaseholder, you are responsible for arranging and paying for the servicing, maintenance, and any necessary safety checks for your appliances, unless your lease agreement says otherwise.
