Scam callers

We’ve been made aware that some of our customers have received calls at their homes from individuals claiming to be from SafeHomes who say they are investigating damp and mould issues in properties.

While there are many legitimate doorstep callers, unfortunately this time of year can see an increase in scams and opportunists.

If someone calls at your home, always ask to see identification. If you feel uncomfortable or have any doubts about who they are, do not let them into your home.

Our customers’ safety is our absolute priority, and we're always here to help. If you believe you have been visited by a scam caller, please contact us so we can make our Safer Communities Team aware.

If a caller becomes persistent, refuses to leave, or you feel threatened, call 999 immediately.
