Join our Residents' Committee

Here at Karbon, we work alongside our customers to ensure their voice is heard.

We've set up groups like our Residents' Committee - to be a critical friend and give a customer perspective on the work we do, making sure we're focusing on issues that matter to them and always looking to make things better.

We're now looking for more customers to join the Residents' Committee.

As a member of the Committee, you will:

  • Work alongside our Board, Customer Committee and Executive Team to provide valuable and independent customer feedback on our services
  • Test our services and produce reports that highlight the committee’s thoughts on how they can be improved
  • Make sure all of our policies and ways of working reflect the needs of our customers
  • Use their position as a Karbon Homes customer to review our performance and ensure the customer journey through each of our services is of the highest standard
  • Work in partnership with other groups of involved residents to ensure customer views are prioritised to direct positive change

You can find out what it's like to be an involved customer at Karbon in the video below:

Our Committee meets up six times a year and is made up with a wide range of customers. They have made a big difference, supporting us with:

  • Setting up customer service standards and tenant satisfaction measures to show how we're performing
  • Developing how customers can make a complaint/compliment with a dedicated web page and complaint review process
  • Delivering our self assessment form with the Housing Ombudsman

And there's always more they can support with.

How to get involved

If you're interested in joining our Residents' Committee, please contact us by emailing connectwithkarbon@karbonhomes.co.uk.
