Celebrating better health at work

Karbon Homes have been awarded Ambassador status with the Better Health at Work Award scheme!

The Better Health at Work Award recognises the efforts of employers in the North East and Cumbria in addressing health issues within the workplace. Having already achieved continuous excellence status, the highest level on the scheme, becoming Ambassadors is a huge testament to hard work we do at Karbon to promote good health and wellbeing for our colleagues.

Our health advocates and sponsors were rewarded for their achievements at a celebratory event where they got to network and share their success with other like-minded organisations.

Health advocate and Mental Health ally Sarah Guest said: “It was a fantastic event. It’s been an absolute pleasure to be involved in the health advocate and mental health support in the last 12 months.

“I’m so proud of what we do as a team, and at Karbon, we’re making a difference every day.”

The aim over the next few months is to further develop our five pillars of wellbeing (be healthy, be safe, be resilient, be connected, be savvy) and continue to support our colleagues with the necessary tools to stay healthy and happy in the workplace.
