This week (10-17 October 2026) marks National Hate Crime Awareness Week, a national campaign that brings together communities, organisations and public services to raise awareness of hate crime and encourage action against it.

The Foundation and Karbon Foundation are continuing their partnership into a new financial year, with a renewed focus on creativity, connection and wellbeing for older residents across the North East.

As part of our bi-monthly Stanley Street Food Market, traders have been given the opportunity to test and grow their offer in a real market environment, receiving tailored support and guidance along the way.

Residents and colleagues across our supported housing schemes have been showcasing their baking talents and raising vital funds through Macmillan Coffee Mornings.
