Fire doors are a critical element in fire safety and can delay the spread of fire and smoke, protecting your life and home.
The theme for this year’s Fire Door Safety Week is ‘Recognise it, Report it’ and aims to help people spot problems with faulty doors so they can be reported, then repaired or replaced.
If your home has a fire door fitted, please take time to read our fire door safety leaflet here.
It’s important you give us access to your home so we can carry out the necessary safety checks to all fire doors. We will always write to you in advance and arrange a suitable date and time that is convenient to you. We will undertake regular safety checks of communal doors in all blocks however, it is a legal requirement that annual checks are undertaken to all flat entrance doors in buildings over 11 metres.
If you have any fire safety concerns, please report them to us on 0800 164 0111
