NECA are hosting free activities throughout the summer holidays!
Sessions will run from Monday through to Thursday, during each week of the summer holidays. All sessions run between 10.00am and 2.00pm at NECA Community Garden, NE34 0TY.
All children must be accompanied by an adult to these events.
Snacks and refreshments are available throughout each session and a free packed lunch will be provided for every child.
Pre-booking an registration is available via Plinth: https://book.plinth.org.uk/e/TMeqUtXSFqvhXdyaUKbe (Pre-booking is not essential and registrations can also be completed on arrival).
Activities on offer include:
- Outdoor sports
- Indoor sports
- Seasonal crafts
- Treasure / scavenger hunts
- Sensory play - mud kitchens, sand pits
- Play area equipment
- Nurturing wildlife – feeding / looking after chickens, bug hotel
- Unlimited access to pens, crayons, pencils, paint, art and craft materials
- During the last 2 weeks there will be face painter (21st & 28th), Nature crafts (26th ) and Circus Skills (19th).
