For now, only people with ‘tax credit only’ claims are being invited to claim UC. If you get tax credits and housing benefit or any other legacy benefits, (like Income Related Job Seekers Allowance or ESA) you won’t be invited to claim yet.
There’s a leaflet being sent out to everyone who receives tax credits (see below). This isn’t the same as a migration notice and does not mean you have to claim UC. if you claim before you’re invited to via a migration notice, you may end up being worse off.

Depending on your circumstances, it might be worth having a chat with a Money Matters advisor to see if you may benefit being on UC.
