Are you looking for opportunities to develop your skills to help with your career? Then Northern Housing Consortium's (NHC) Unlocking Success Bursary can help.
The scheme will award grants of £500 to help customers develop learning and skills to support future employment.
Who can apply?
To be eligible to apply for the bursary you must be:
- 16 years old or over
- Housed by a social landlord who is a member of the NHC (which Karbon is)
- Use the grant to enhance skills to further development
What can the Unlocking Success Bursary fund?
A bursary award can support with the cost of learning itself. If you're already involved in an area of learning it can help fund:
- Books
- Equipment
- Travel costs
- Childcare
- Living costs
How to apply?
A member of our team will need to help complete your application. If you're interested in applying please contact your Housing Officer or a member of our Customer Services Team by email or by calling 0808 164 0111.
- a short application will be completed by a member of our team. This will confirm who you are and go through data protection information.
- a short 'pitch' from you either in writing or by video where you say how the bursary could make a difference to you.
The deadline for completing applications is 10 July 2026.
