A wellbeing walk at Beamish

Getting out and about and meeting up with others can make such a big difference to your mental health and wellbeing.

That’s exactly why our Supported Housing team started running our Rise Up walking group and Coffee and Culture group for their service users.

The two groups recently embarked on a joint trip to Beamish, the world famous open air museum to discover more about the history of North East England. As part of World Mental Health Day, we went along with them to find out more about the groups and how they help service users with their mental health.

If you are a Supported Housing customer and would like to take part in the Coffee and Culture group or Rise Up walking group, please let you support worker know.

World Mental Health Day 2023

On 10 October 2023, people all over the UK will be wearing a green ribbon pin to show others that they're not alone, and to start a conversation about mental health. To find out more, visit mentalhealth.org.uk.
