At Karbon, we’re especially proud of the work we do to support our communities. On page 14, you’ll find stories about some brilliant local projects we’ve helped make happen - from breakfast clubs for children, to holiday activities and boxing clubs that bring people together and promote wellbeing.
It was great to meet over 200 of you at our free customer event at Beamish, thank you to everyone who came along and for all of feedback about Karbon. You can see some of the photos on page 13.

Pool Group boosts confidence and connection
Our Pool and Social Group is one of our many involvement groups we offer at Karbon started by a service user is going from strength to strength in numbers.
Making pies and pals
As part of our ongoing commitment to bring people in our communities together, we recently provided £3,629 of funding for a Men’s Pie Club in Chester-le-Street. We popped along to find out how things were going, meet the people taking part and make a pie of our own.
