Supported Housing residents help to raise £4,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Residents and staff across our supported housing schemes have helped to raise almost £4,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support with their Coffee Mornings.

Each of the schemes signed up to host a coffee morning in September to raise money for the cancer support charity, supporting Macmillan to help people living with cancer.

  • Delight Court, Dipton raised over £1,000
  • The Elms, Chester-le-Street raised £475.00
  • Aldwych house, South Shields raised £468.23
  • Townley Court, Stanley raised £907
  • Park View, Lynemouth raised £554.50
  • Weavers Court, Alnwick raised £201.77
  • The Manors, Prudhoe raised £343.65

What an amazing effort from all the schemes to raise money for such a good charity.

Macmillan's Coffee Mornings are their biggest fundraising event to support people living with cancer.

People all over the UK host their own coffee mornings and donations raised on the day are made to Macmillan.
