On Monday 27 January, our Foundations for Life Team are putting on a Volunteering Event for Karbon customers with Job Centre Plus and Durham Community Action.
This is a great opportunity to find out more about the benefits of volunteering and how it helps you develop skills, increase confidence and meet new people.
You’ll also meet the teams from Care Academy, Wheels 2 Work, Louisa Centre, St Stephens Centre, Silver Talk, The Credit Union and more and discover the volunteering opportunities they have to offer.
Volunteering can be for as little as one day per week and we can cover your travel costs to and from your volunteering position.
There are two sessions available, one from 10am – 11am and the other from 12pm – 1pm. Plus, all customers who attend will be entered into a free prize draw to receive a £50 Amazon voucher!
