Digital and online services, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic seem to be the only way of getting stuff done these days, yet we know there are still so many people who either don’t have access to the internet, or a device to access it; or don’t have the confidence to use it.
We have dedicated Digital Coaches who work with customers on a 121 and small group basis to support you to improve your confidence of using devices and online services, along with improving your skill set of using online services.
The coaches will create an action plan to map out what you want to learn and where you want to get to, and we use Learn My Way which is an easy modular approach to different aspects of online services and digital skills.
We work with Vision 2 Learn for pathways for those who would like to gain an accredited qualification in ICT or Digital Skills (level 2) that is remote and therefore you can complete it at your own pace.
We offer a variety of different courses as well, but these are informal as we know a classroom-based approach isn’t for everyone.
For those that don’t have access to a device or access to the internet, we have a Digital Device & Data Loan Scheme - we can loan you a device and data for up to three months, so you can engage with our services and support and continue your learning at home in between your appointments.
