Employment Connections

Thanks to Area Action Partnership Funding, we are leading on the Durham Employment Connections project which aims to forget greater relationships between employment support services, and then with local businesses. 

Recruitment and job seeking is in a really difficult place at the moment, with lots of people looking for jobs and lots of employers recruiting for jobs; but the two aren’t meeting in the middle. We are working hard to identify approaches and initiatives to improve people’s access to jobs, and support companies to recruit the right people for their roles.  

We are the host of an Employment Forum that meets every other month at the Riverside Stadium, Chester le Street on Fridays from 10am – 12pm.
