Working closely with youth providers
Karbon works closely with youth providers across the North East through our Youth Network. Working with our partners it has become clear that many organisations sometimes just need that stitch in time to see them by. We have therefore established a modest fund to support organisations working with young people to continuing doing what they do best.
The fund is designed for supporting small, short term fixes and not ongoing costs. While the maximum grant is £1,000, this will only be granted in exceptional circumstances and most awards will be significantly smaller. For larger amounts, we recommend contacting the funding. Or applying through our Community Funding page.
Examples of this funding may include:
- Core costs, including:
- printing
- resources
- venue hire (including covering lost income for use of own premises)
- maintenance
- utilities
- wages
- items such as tables, chairs etc
- Using Karbon funds or commitment to fund to as a seed to leverage larger funds
