Training

Our Foundations for Life team offer multiple (non-accredited) training courses for tenants and residents across our geography. These are free of charge to attend but some may have eligibility requirements. This page provides additional information about the courses on offer. In addition, we work some fantastic training providers across the region, and will use this space to share upcoming courses we think may benefit our customers; these links will be direct to those offering the course; but you are welcome to contact us to talk about the courses.

Are there barriers stopping you from attending?

If things like travel costs, childcare costs or access to a digital device and data are preventing you from attending these courses, please get in touch, we can help.

Learn to read, write and drive with our Foundations for Life team.

The Write Turn can help you build confidence with reading, writing, maths and digital skills. Plus, we're offering to cover the fee for a provisional driving license and driving theory test so you can put those skills to practical use.

We'll also run sessions on how to complete the driver's theory test and develop your digital skills so you can access and complete the test.

By the end of the course, you'll have the foundations to build on these skills, with options to take part in maths and English courses and the chance to get employment support.
